Rainforest Mushroom Walks

*Reservas abiertas solo para residentes locales *Transporte no incluido *Se recomienda reservar una habitación en Casa Cubuy o en las cercanías —https://www.casacubuy.com/ Meet us at 2PM in Casa Cubuy where we will conduct a bioblitz on the property. Every group member will have the chance to contribute to vital citizen science efforts to better understand tropical fungi by making collections that will be preserved for DNA sequencing. We will discuss the findings and you can ask questions. After dinner at Casa Cubuy (included), there will be a nighttime hike through the woods to experience the magical phenomenon of mushroom and insect bioluminescence and/or fluorescence. We will document insects by ‘mothing’, which involves setting up a UV light to attract moths and other insects that are active at twilight. *Reservation open only for locals *Transportation not included *Suggest booking a room at Casa Cubuy or nearby - https://www.casacubuy.com/
